Beautiful Earththe e-newsletter of Eric Zamora
Hi [FIRSTNAME],
Happy Earth Day!
Don’t forget this Saturday is my first exhibition installment of Life on the Edge: The Story of Florida’s Nature Coast. The exhibit opening is this Saturday April 24th at the Florida Museum of Natural History. I will give a presentation about my Nature Coast documentary at 11 am as part of the museum’s Earth Day celebration.Life on the Edge is my ongoing conservation photography project about Florida’s Nature Coast. I’ve been photographing life on the Nature Coast for almost two years, building partnerships and raising seed funding. The subjects in my photographs range widely from wildlife and habitats to people and industry.
The Nature Coast stretches across an eight-county, 240-mile shoreline, distinct because it exists predominantly in a natural state. It’s hard to imagine that such a large piece of Florida’s coast evaded the development we see across much of the state. But, as with all things, change happens. It is the change I am documenting – what is there now, what we stand to lose, and the potential of our gains. For more information about Life on the Edge visit my web site. Earth Day events at the Florida Museum are for people of all ages. For more information about the Florida Museum’s Earth Day celebration, including my exhibit, visit the museum’s web site.I hope to see you there!
All my best,
Eric
