Beautiful Earththe e-newsletter of Eric Zamora
Hi [FIRSTNAME],
I hope this message finds you in good spirits.
The 2011 Florida Forever Conservation Photography Calendar survey is now online. The purpose of the survey is to open our doors to public participation and get your opinion on what will make the best calendar cover. We want to know your two favorites of the twelve stunning choices. Each photograph represents a landscape that is on Florida Forever's acquition list. Each landscapes is unprotected and at risk of development. To cast your vote, visit this link and follow the instructions.
I have several blog posts about my recent photo adventures. Instead of giving you links to all the different posts, just browse the main blog page for what interests you.
I am waiting to see if the oil spill in the Gulf reaches the Nature Coast and planning to take action any day. It may very well be that when I canoe the Nature Coast, I will have to canoe through an oil slick. There will be more news to come about my Life on the Edge project and the oil spill. If you can find time or money to help the recovery efforts, here are some links that will give you ideas:
Sierra Club
Gulf Restoration Network
Save the Manatee
ABC News provides options in a recent online article
Despite these tumultuous times, life goes on. I hope you can vote in our survey and help in some way as this oil spill heads toward Florida. Enjoy the photos on the blog.
All my best,
Eric
