Wildlife

A river otter (Lontra canadensis) walks the shore inspecting my presence in its coastal woodlands home. This otter makes its home in quiet flow of springfed Sweetwater cCeek, also the heart of the 1,200-acre Reserve at Sweetwater Estuary proposed resort. Loss of habitat is the number one threat to wildlife on the planet and the Nature Coast is no different.
